I retired early from Accenture to focus on Coaching and Business Consulting. Having spent over 30 years in Business at Senior Levels I felt it was time to follow my passions for people development as a leadership coach, and achieving great business results. During my career I devised and delivered several talent development programmes and learned how to build high performing teams.
I found it to be hugely satisfying to achieve excellent Business results. I also learned that successful businesses are built on creating long term relationships with clients and colleagues alike. Consequently, it may be no surprise that my Business Consulting work is often focussed on the Relationships inside and outside my Client’s business.
This wealth of experience together with my expertise as a leadership coach is now focussed in helping my Clients achieve similar successes.
There is also an element of giving something back. I was very fortunate to have a supportive family and received a great education. These opportunities helped equip me for my very successful career. When I reflect on my career, the high points have been associated with developing others. I have therefore attained accreditation as a certified practitioner in Myers Briggs Steps I&II as well as Tracom’s Social Styles. I have worked with the Princes Trust, Business in the Community and have mentored for both the Poppy Factory and Poppy Scotland. Since retiring I have completed my training for the Institute of Leadership and Management’s Level 7 ‘Leadership Coaching’.
